Study Abroad Vienna Spotlight

This week the EBC welcomed Markus Broman, a Finish student from Helsinki studying at Vienna University of Economics and Business, to Boston College’s campus. I became friends with Markus while studying abroad in Vienna; since returning to Boston I have been keen to continue fostering transatlantic relationships so it was great to be able to introduce Markus to our community. During his stay Markus and I attended a BC football game, a Bruins Ice Hockey game and a Presidential election results watch event — a proper introduction to American culture. I look forward to staying in touch and continuing to advance our club’s commitment to creating community and broadening perspectives.
